Comments for Everyone!

Hey everyone! So, for activity four of week two of the Student Blogging Challenge, we were required to find four people of the blogosphere and comment on one of their posts. I found four great people, and have included my comments as well as other things below.
__________________________________________________________________________
  • The first blog I commented on was Reyne's blog. Here is my comment:             "Hey Rayne! Your post was very interesting and unique. I actually have experience with Scratch as well. At my school, we have a program called STEM. This stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. I am in the STEM program, so during engineering, we used scratch to create our own games. Yours was pretty great! Check out my blog to learn more about STEM!

I decided to comment on Reyne's blog because she had a very interesting Scratch game which hooked me from the beginning. Plus, she is a very good writer.

  • The second blog I commented on was Emily's blog. Here is my comment:             "Hey Emily! Guess what… my name is Emily too! I love the video you have posted above. It includes such a great song. Well, thanks for sharing with me!
    – Emily http://laxlover101.blogspot.com/"
I commented on Emily's blog because she had shared some interesting facts that she learned in school through a video. I loved watching the video because of the great song included in it.

  • The next blog I commented on was Grady's blog. Here is my comment:             "Hey Grady! I love the video you posted above. It is a great way to introduce couplets to people. Your Valentines Day at school sounds like so much fun! I hope you got lots of candy!

I decided to comment on Grady's blog because of the fun, interesting video he posted on it, and because of his Valentines Day at his school. The video was so unique and fun!

  • The final blog I commented on was Landree's blog. Here is my comment:              "Hi Landree! I saw in some of your comments to other bloggers that you thought they were good writers. Well, I think you are a great writer! Also, I didn't know you were allergic to cats. Tell me more about it at school!

I commented on Landree's blog because of how detailed and intelligent Landree was with her writing. Everything she writes just pulls me in to read more!

Oh, I'm so Cute!

Guess what, I am doing the Student Blogging Challenge! For 10 weeks, we are given different activities to complete and post each week. The very first activity was to create an avatar for yourself. My avatar resembles me in multiple ways, such as the dog, blond hair, and glasses. First of all, my avatar is holding a leash which is attached to a dog. This greatly resembles me due to the fact that I love animals, specifically dogs, and I have a dog. Plus, I am always with her. Second of all, my character has blond hair. In reality, I have extremely blond hair, which I am glad to have on my avatar. Finally, my avatar has cute little glasses (which really do take up most of her face). I do have glasses, and wear them all the time, so I thought that it would only be right to include them on my avatar. Clearly, I chose my avatar because she resembles me in many ways, and if you would like to see my avatar, look right next to my “about me” post. You will think it is just so cute!

This chart above tells you a few things about myself. I didn’t want to write you a super long paragraph explaining everything I have listed, so I created a simple chart for you to read. I hope you learn more about me and my life in Colorado. Thanks!

Family, the most Important thing in the World

I live with a huge family! A mom, dad, two brothers, a sister, a dog, and multiple other pets are what make up my family. This isn’t even all of it. My extended family (grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, ect.) are all an important part of my life as well. Every day in my house is a new adventure. From playing with my little siblings to sitting down at the dinner table and talking about our day. We are always there for each other, even through hard times, and that is a great thing to remember.
My siblings are crazy! Two twin 5 year olds are always running around the house and lightening the mood. I have no idea where they get all of their energy, but it ends up being a good thing for everyone in the house. These twins have their own personalities. One of them (the girl), loves little things. She is always carrying around a small toy which she switches out every day. The other one (the boy), loves to make people laugh. From his funny faces to his high pitched voice, he never fails to get us going. My other brother, who is 11, never fails to amaze me. From his newfound love of lacrosse to his 100% grades in school. We may have our time to time arguments, but each day is a new day, and each day he is getting older and more mature. It just amazes me how much he has grown as a person in the past couple of years.
I can’t even begin to describe my parents. My mother is running 4 kids to activities every single day while making sure we are well fed, and that our lives out of the house are fine and dandy. She always finds time for us even with her busy schedule for each and every day. I should say it more often, but I am so appreciative of how much she does for us and loves us. My father is a very hard working man. Each day, he helps me get ready for school at 6:00 AM in the morning, then goes to work. Once his day at work is over, he comes home to greet the family, and even cooks dinner. My dad does so much for my whole family and always finds time for each and every one of us. I am so grateful to have him as my dad, and hope he knows how much my family and I appreciate what he does for us. Overall, my parents are just amazing.
Finally, my extended family. Cousins, grandparents, uncles, aunts, when does it end. Each of them care for me so deeply, and I try my best to return that love as well. Every summer, I am able to see most of these people, and these times are some of the most enjoyable times I have ever had. One example of this is going to Minnesota to see my mom’s side of the family. When I go to Minnesota, I love to tube on the lakes, take leisurely rides on pontoons, snatch all of grandma’s cookies, listen to grandpa’s stories, and just enjoy the time with family. I have so many great memories associated with visiting family.
As you can see, family is basically the most important thing to me. I love each and every one of my family members so much, and hope they know that too. Every day is a wild ride, but as long as I have my family there, it doesn’t matter what happens. I really can’t begin to say how much I love my family.
